Steph is a research fellow in disability ministries and a visiting instructor affiliated with Covenant Theological Seminary. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from McDaniel College and master’s degrees in economics from Virgnia Polytechnic Institute and State University and in theological studies from Covenant Seminary. She is the founding director of Engaging Disability With The Gospel.
Steph is author of Same Lake, Different Boat: Coming Alongside People Touched by Disability and Parenting & Disabilities: Abiding in God’s Presence. She has served on the advisory board of the Wheaton Center on Faith and Disability and on the board of directors for Key Ministry. Steph and her husband, Fred, have two deeply loved sons, the younger of whom has Down syndrome. They have been blessed to welcome into their family a wonderful daughter-in-law and three grandchildren.
